Our History
Our journey in software development began in 1994. Over the decades, we've built applications across more than 20 programming languages, evolving from early BASIC to modern Rust. Along the way, we experienced firsthand the persistent challenges of license enforcement that every software developer faces. To truly protect our intellectual property, we rigorously studied everything from simple pattern-matching license keys to expensive hardware dongles, and deeply analyzed the cracking and 'nulling' techniques used to bypass them. We learned exactly what it takes to secure software in the real world.
Today
LIC.DO was initially born out of our own necessity—a unified platform built to manage licenses across all our mobile apps, web systems, and modules without compromising the unique architecture of each project. We quickly realized that the robust infrastructure we built for ourselves could solve the exact same problems for developers everywhere. Understanding both the critical importance of software protection and the financial realities of startups, we decided to open LIC.DO to the public. Our mission is to provide enterprise-grade licensing at a highly affordable price.
